Hey all,

The last couple of months have been crazy busy for me. I have been working on some pretty interesting projects that have been demanding most of my time. When I test drove happar before before christmas 2007, I was absolutely stunned by its power and pushed her to bring some excellent results and money. I had to get back to working on my own projects in the new year and wasnt able to devote as much time as i’d like to happar. So I decided to outsource most of the tasks based on the system I’d previously made work so well. Here is exactly what I done and the results it produces 3.5 months later. (You guessed it - This is also in ultra competitive markets :), I wouldn’t do it any other way. Niche marketing is just not my thing. To much time at risk)

I set up 5 domains - 3 focusing on weight loss and 2 focusing on Anti-aging. I installed Wordpress on all domains, installed vital plugins and tuned for maximum SEO benifits. (Total time invested - 1 Day)

I hired a female content writer from getafreelancer.com. I gave her sample content I’ve had created on both markets perviously by wahmomoutsource.com and ask her to completly re-write posts and articles.

I wanted :

2 blog posts per blog per week. (I took care of wordpress posting as I’m very particular of the way my content is posted, tagged and linked.)

5 Unique articles - I.e one to promote each blog. These I also submitted my-self each week to ezinearticles. I didnt even bother with other article directories.

Cost of content writer : $150 per week.
Time invested by me to post to each blog and submit articles : 30 mins per week.

Other promotion :

After 1 week I put each blog on 3 Way Links

(The blogs were all on a single VPS I use and none of them were interlinked)

And thats it. I didn’t do one other thing with content or promotion of these blogs.

Remember I was preaching about what I called the “3 Month Website Barrier”. I believe if you can keep good content flowing to a blog and have a steady slow growth of varied inbound links to the blog - when you hit 3 months things really kick off in terms of traffic and rankings.

I’ve picked out one of the best performing domains and wanted to show you how the traffic is starting to snowball.

Monthly Summary

I installed happar on the above domain on the 4th of April. I still have done nothing to promote this site but happar is responsible for greatly accelerating traffic growth and page index count.

3 of my other 5 domains are producing more or less the same results. 1 of the domains in the Weight loss market has totally failed. I’m getting on average only 30 uniques per day. I will need to roll up the sleves to make sense of what happened here.

Where to next with these domains ?

If you’ve been following my posts you should be able to take a good guess at what I will do now with these 4 top performers.

I’m going to entice people that land on my blog to visit pre-sales pages that I will build as well capturing email address in return for a quality Anti-Aging and Weight Loss report (With proven high opt-in conversions). I’m gonna load up my autoresponder with some email templates, testimonials and promotional offers that the merchant provided. I’m going to split test each of the sites with different copy and emails. Finally I am going to pass on Hittails suggested keywords to my copy writer and ask her to create more articles around these keywords. (I will also give her a $200 bonus for a job well done) I want to hold on to this one.

Then I’m gonna build 5 more sites in the exact same markets only this time I will turn a profit much faster through good PR and promotion to pages that are proven to convert very well.

Where Does Happar Fit In?

Happar is vital to me in this process as I am using happar to get eyeballs on my free report offer and ultimately lead them into my sales funnel. I wont be using adsense on any of these sites as I can simply make a ton more selling a high converting product. Plus Its more fun and I’m finding that my sales and copy skills are improving every day. That can only lead to great things.

When I was 7 years old, my grandma took me to a butchers shop, she pointed at the sheep hanging from their hooks and said.

‘Every sheep at the end of the day, hangs from a different hook’.

I didn’t quite understand this term, until I started working online and slowly realized that you can not depend on anybody but yourself to run your life. When you want something done right, you HAVE to do it yourself.

So I pulled up my little boot straps and got to work. The first question is, whats the best way to earn a wage online? The only way I could see, would be an arcade site. Mind you I was about 17, so I hopped over to sitepoint.com and checked out the latest deals. Now that I look at most of these ‘deals’, quite frankly I can’t help myself from cringing at the thought someone is buying 5% of what M.E is at triple the price *sign*

I bought my first arcade site for only $300! It was making a dollar a day and I couldn’t wait to get started. I was going to develop the site, make it awesome, add features that have never been seen before and then! I would be rich! YEAH! I would be free from the enslavement of our times, things were looking up!

Then a harsh reality hit me like a b52 bomber. I didn’t have a clue, not a single clue on how to program or how to drive traffic to my site. Now I have to learn another language? I already know one!

My stomach turned as I slowly got into the world of SEO,Serps, PR and about every other buzz word the internet has to offer, I felt cold and isolated but at the same time a tingling sensation that I was about to learn with the big boys…O YEAH, Freedom from working!

Wrong again! (does this sound familiar?)

Even after learning all these terms and meaning, I still had no idea on where to go, who to talk to. Every programmer I hired, had completely ripped me off. $50 to add a paypal button! $20 to add a video.When you are young, you have this distinct ability to trust everybody around you, to listen to elders with wonder and excitement, unwittingly knowing they have planned their words and are ready to take you back to school. OUCH!

Now I know that trust is not easily handed out, on the flip side, DO YOUR RESEARCH before buying anything, ask questions, there are alot of sneaky buisnessmen out there ( you know who you are) Who develop such basic material and sell them on for hundreds, scripts that my team can write in 10 minutes…

I was getting no where, sure I was making a couple of bucks off my internet sites, only to reinvest and buy the following:

An arcade site, myspace search engine, forex affiliating site, blog, football forum, film critic site, banner site,site builder and of course Happar version 1;)

I worked so so hard to buy out happar version 1, this script was basically genius, it could create new pages everytime a user made a search, thus bringing you traffic and money!

I made 7 thousand dollars off my version 1 sites, I put it on clickbank and copies flew off the shelves, praise and glory and most of all FREEDOM!

Wrong…

After one month at the top, making money, living like a little prince, my good friends over at google decided ‘CONTENT IS KING’ and banned all the sites, which were inter linked.( that has been changed since people lost their sites from the index and I had to dish out refunds.

This was when I had lost my nerv and I went to the window and shouted ‘I AM NOT GOING TO TAKE IT ANYMORE’ I sat down and starting planning the worlds greatest white hat script, something that google would love, something that even the seo champions of the internet would respect, something that was everything, something that made EVERYBODY independent and made lives easier when building sites, no codes no seo no more BS.

Wrong…. Real life hit me and my father died, he told me some words on his death bed that enchanted me mentally

8 months and $40,000 dollars later

HAPPAR M.E was being born, we worked tirelessly adding one feature after another. I had 2 jobs and made sure everybody was paid above the minimum wage for their programming, we went through programmers like butter, they would just ripp me off.

8 months of trial and error we finally landed the perfect team. Happar M.E was released on the 27th of febuary, since then we have upgraded and patched any bugs within the day. I am proud to run happar.com, my vision is for a better world and if I can continue to make people’s lives easier, then only the grave will stop me.

What have I learnt from all this?

Patience, hard work, patience and a whole lotta love for my customers, work for yourself and work for your future, plan and don’t even bother with people who don’t keep their word.

I just had to get that off my chest.

Choosing A Market

Market research is where it all begins. If there’s no market there’s no dough. Most people think that in order to succeed in a market they must find a sub niche within that market that has very few or no competitors. They believe that they have no chance of making money in broad saturated markets. After all, how can the small guy compete with monstrous companies and affiliates that have never ending resources? This is certainly how I used to think.

I’d painstakingly go through thousands of keywords analyzing core variables such as, number of competing pages, monthly search volume, Number of Adwords advertisers etc. Yeah I used cool tools to do this but I was always stationary until I found that diamond in the rough. More often than not, that certain diamond turned out to be just a sharp piece of glass that sliced through my time and wallet. I had many PPC campaigns pointing to these shallow poorly structured and optimized sites. I made a few bucks but it certainly wasn’t worth the effort and time I was putting in.

Learning how to improve your website always leads to the same place – keywords. That’s right; it always leads back to keywords.

You can make a website that looks pretty, has all the best graphics, pictures and flash content, but without keywords no one is going to find the page. Keywords are the way people are going to search for your page. There are different ways to choosing the right keywords. Let’s explore them.

1. Variation
This is key because if you only have one keyword throughout your site, the odds aren’t very good that people are going to find it. If you have a website on “Ford muscle cars”, having just those keywords by itself is good, but not great. Come up with different variations and different topics such as “Ford big block” or “ford small block.” These are types of engines that those into muscle cars might look for. Sit down and write a list of 100 or so keywords that you want to incorporate on your site. Ask friends and family members. You can also explore other similar sites. You may even want to include misspelled variations for the simple fact that not everyone is going to spell it right on the first try.

2. Avoid stop words
There are certain words to avoid in your keywords such as ‘and,’ ‘the,’ ‘a’ and ‘an.’ These words will only cause a hiccup when the search engine is looking for sites. Be specific and people will have a better way of find your site.

3. Place keywords throughout the site
Some search engines rank higher depending on frequency of keywords. Don’t think you can get away with just having the keyword in the title and never having to mention it again. Keywords are critical to a successful website. You can always play with the placement and the keywords of the site until you find the right mix.

Long tail keywords is a growing trend in Internet marketing. Long tail keywords focus on the less popular searches that find your site. It may seem unproductive to focus on the few, but lately there is a different way of thinking when it comes to promoting your site.

If you are using all the right keywords, most people are going to find the site when searching for it. However, what about the people who stumble upon the site when searching for something that is less popular, or use a combination of keywords that you didn’t think about. With many of these programs, you enter website and it will come with two- through five-word keywords for your site that you should start using.

By using the software you might also find out things about your website you didn’t know such as areas of your site that need greater attention and an audience that was getting overlooked.
